How to use Single Sign-On for Google (SSO)
To support single sign-on through Google and make logging into learning applications easier for students, please help your child log into Google using their school gmail address and their 6-digit student other ID password. (This information can be found in the Skyward Family Access, for assistance read these instructions.) Once the login information has been entered, it will be saved to the device (the Chrome browser is recommended) and your student will be able to log in independently by selecting their account name.
Here is how your School Google Login is formatted:
first 5 letters of last name and then first 3 of your first name then 3 numbers usually 000
(ex: lastnfir000@stillwaterschools.org)
Step 1: Login into Google
Please make sure you are using the Chrome browser and type https://www.google.com in the search bar.
Step 2: Sign in using the student's Google email address
If you do not see your school email account listed, click Use Another Account.
Enter the student's school gmail address (for example: balfajul000@stillwaterschools.org) and then click NEXT.
Step 3: Enter the student's password
The student's password is a 6-digit student ID password and once entered click NEXT.
IMPORTANT NOTE: Once your school gmail account login information has been entered, the next time you need to log into an app or website using your Google sign on information you can click the SIGN IN WITH GOOGLE button like this one, choose your account name from the list, and launch the app.
